Frequently Asqued Questions
I sleep through every alarm. Will RiseBrace actually wake me up?
I sleep through every alarm. Will RiseBrace actually wake me up?
Yes. RiseBrace is designed specifically for Deaf, hard-of-hearing and deep sleepers who don’t wake up with normal alarms or light-based clocks.
It uses a strong, focused vibration on your wrist so your body feels it, even when sound doesn’t work. Many users who used to sleep through loud alarms and even bed shakers now wake up reliably with RiseBrace.
How strong is the vibration?
How strong is the vibration?
RiseBrace delivers bed-shaker level power in a wristband.
The vibration starts more gently and quickly ramps up to full strength, giving you enough power to wake up from deep sleep without feeling shocked or panicked.
Will it wake up my partner?
Will it wake up my partner?
No. Unlike bed shakers that move the whole mattress, RiseBrace only vibrates on your wrist.
That means you feel a strong wake-up signal, while the person next to you usually doesn’t feel a thing. Most customers report that they wake up without disturbing their partner.
How is this different from my Apple Watch or Fitbit?
How is this different from my Apple Watch or Fitbit?
Smartwatches use tiny notification motors made for subtle daytime alerts, not deep-sleep wake-ups.
RiseBrace uses a dedicated wake-up motor that’s several times stronger and focused on one job: getting you out of bed, even if you’re Deaf or an extreme heavy sleeper. Many customers tried Apple Watch, Fitbit or Garmin first — and only started waking up consistently with RiseBrace.
Does the alarm come with a charger?
Does the alarm come with a charger?
RiseBrace can be charged via a standard USB (Type-A) port.
If you already have a compatible USB charger at home, you can use that. We also offer an optional RiseBrace charging plug that you can easily add to your order at checkout if you prefer a dedicated charger.
How long does the battery last?
How long does the battery last?
On a full charge, RiseBrace typically lasts around two weeks of daily use, depending on your settings and how often you use the alarm.
Charging is quick and simple via USB, so you can top it up during the day and be ready for the next night.
